The body of a woman was found hanging in a thatched house in Tarawe village of Gamharia police station area of Madhepura. There was a sensation in the area after the dead body was found in the house. The deceased’s maternal family has accused her husband and sister-in-law of murder. The deceased was identified as Lachika Devi (21), wife of Mukesh Ram, resident of Tarawe Ward 6 Ram Tola of Gamharia police station area.

Panchayat was also held several times in the village regarding this. But Mukesh Ram was not desisting from his actions. For this reason Lachika Devi had gone to her maternal home in Jivchhapur. Two days ago, Mukesh Ram went to his in-laws house and bid farewell to Lachika Devi, telling her not to make the same mistake again and brought him to his home. After bringing it home, he along with his sister-in-law murdered his wife and hanged her body.
The accused husband was arrested
It was told that Lachika, daughter of Madan Ram, resident of Ward 3, Jeevachpur village, of Gamharia police station area, was married three years ago to Mukesh Ram, son of Fusan Ram, resident of Ward 6, Tarave village. He also has a daughter. On receiving information about the incident, Gamharia police station reached the spot. FSL team was informed about this. Police completed the paperwork and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police Station Head Santosh Kumar Gupta said that the father of the deceased has applied in the police station. The police is investigating the matter The accused husband has been arrested.
